made the top 12 semi-finalists.

The first BSBS sponsored cd to make the finalists round.

"Best Self-Produced CD"

Since 2005, The Blues Foundation has celebrated
up and coming artists by bestowing an award for the
"Best Self-Produced CD" of the year as part of the
International Blues Challenge in Memphis

and it will do so again in 2010. The purpose of this
award is to assist Blues musicians in the pursuit of
their professional goals.

The Black Swamp Blues Society is proud to announce that 
Bull Halsey's "Hot Dry Work" has been selected to represent
BSBS in the Best Self-Produced CD category at the
International Blues Challenge, January 21-23,  2010.
